   The answer is that both WC and FreeBSD profit, sort of. Walnut Creek
makes money on the CD's, but they also host our development machines (on
their T1), advertise on our behalf, and contribute back in other ways (not
the least of which are the salaries of a few people involved in FreeBSD).
