    Given that people installing from the 5.2-RELEASE images
 will, by definition, have copies of the official binaries,
 I think this update can probably wait until the ports tree
 freeze is over.  However, some people have argued (both at
 BSDCon, and over email) that allowing people who have made
 local modifications (ie, recompiled) to use FreeBSD Update
 is imperative.  I'll leave it to those people to decide if
 they want to argue for this to be included sooner.
