Hello,

        I want tu run tripwire on a FreeBSD Box. i've compiled and
configured it. But when i want to initialise the database, it fails:

if i run:  tripwire -initialize

i get the following messages:

### Phase 1: Reading configuration file
### Phase 2: Generating file list
### Phase 3: Creating file information database
truncate(): Invalid argument

and it exits to shell.

I'm using FreeBSD Release 2.1.0.

Can anybody help me ?
thanks
