MD5 is the default; if you don't install DES, it'll just use MD5.

eBones is kerberos.
At least, our implementation is eBones.  If memory serves, there are
several types/implementations of kerberos, and eBones is the one we use.
The option you see in the list is actually sebones, which is ther kerberos
source.
This history could be completely screwed up, BTW; don't trust it.  The
point is kerberos <-> eBones.
