Try the 10.1 STABLE iso at = http://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/snapshots/powerpc/powerpc64/ISO-IMAGES/= 10.1/FreeBSD-10.1-STABLE-powerpc-powerpc64-20150121-r277483-disc1.iso There are reported to be some problems with powerpc64 (e.g. Macintosh = G5) disks prior to this one.
