Two options:

1) download the BSDI 2.1 binary from ftp.watsun.columbia.edu.  It should
run without a hitch.  The binaries usually also include source code which
you could tweak if necessary.

2) If you really want the full source code, download
		/kermit/archives/ckuker.tar.gz

That's the full unix source code to Kermit 6.0 for Unix.  Don't ask why
they put it there, seems kinda silly to me.
