does www.freebsd.org/handbook say something familiar?? 
It is the point we call the 'Alpha'. The 'Omega' will depend on you ;)
But I can assure you it nothing like Windows stuff - a Windows (Graphical
User Interface) might open to you at some point after install - again
depends on how friendly you and FreeBSD will get..
