In that case, however, I suggest to do the same with multimedia/exportvideo, since the exportvideo port is merely designed as an add-on to nuppelvideo. In particular, I had supplied a script with exportvideo (nuv4dvd) which depends on nuvplay and will turn useless once nuppelvideo is gone. The purpose of exportvideo was to enable the transcoding .nuv -> .mpg using mjpegtools as advertised in the nuppelvideo documentation. It is fairly obsolete without nuppelvideo.
