Financial crisis ;) Are you sure cron respects login.conf? I don't see it mentioned in the man page. Have you tried modifying the offending crontab to run using limits(1) program? AFAIK, cron doesn't use login(1) or underlying infrastructure, yet it uses pam. -- Mel
