NEWCARD has been open from day one.  It has been in the tree since I
got it compiling from the newconfig sources, updated to the most
recent NetBSD sources.  Yet very few people have contributed to the
effort.  Partly that's my fault for not producing a design doc, and
partly people don't have the time to get over the learning curve.
