--Apple-Mail-2-641895816 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; format=flowed; delsp=yes Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hello, I'm looking for a cheap non-RAID SATA II PCIe card, with 4 SATA ports, to plug into a FreeBSD 6.4 box. The Adaptec 1405 (ASC-1405) seems perfect to me, but it also seems unsupported by FreeBSD. The Adaptec web site is not sure about the support either: FreeBSD supported according to the en-GB description: <http://www.adaptec.com/en-GB/products/Controllers/Hardware/sas/entry/ASC-1405/index.htm > FreeBSD unsupported according to en-US description: <http://www.adaptec.com/en-US/products/Controllers/Hardware/sas/entry/ASC-1405/index.htm > Any idea about the FreeBSD support for Adaptec 1405 (ASC-1405)? Any PCIe card suggestion is appreciated. regards, pat --Apple-Mail-2-641895816--
