Hello,

I'm looking for a cheap non-RAID SATA II PCIe card, with 4 SATA ports,
to plug into a FreeBSD 6.4 box. The Adaptec 1405 (ASC-1405) seems
perfect to me, but it also seems unsupported by FreeBSD.

The Adaptec web site is not sure about the support either:

FreeBSD supported according to the en-GB description:
 >

FreeBSD unsupported according to en-US description:
 >

Any idea about the FreeBSD support for Adaptec 1405 (ASC-1405)?
Any PCIe card suggestion is appreciated.

regards,
pat
