That's because you need to update your /usr/share/mk files. Go to
http://www.freebsd.org/ports/ and install the proper upgrade kit.
It'll fix all of this.

That's because it's not the solution =) Installing the appropriate
upgrade kit for your system will fix it.
If there's any interest, I'll write an entry for the FAQ or Handbook
(or both?) if someone wants to commit it =) This seems to come up
pretty often on the -questions list, so maybe something there will
help people get it fixed.
