Seems I forgot to include my full name, sorry.....

O.k. here we go again:

I am having problems with mounting my dvd-rom. I've installed FreeBSD
4.3.
When I try to mount via:

#mount /cdrom
the following message occurs: cd9660: /dev/acd0c: Invalid argument

When I try:

#mount /dev/acd0c /cdrom
it says: acd0: READ_CD command timeout ..resetting
               ata: resetting devices.......done
panic: vm_fault: fault on nofault entry, addr c684a000
and the system crashes.

The dmesg entry is as follows:
acd0: DVD-ROM <DM126D DVDROM> at ata1-master using PIO4

The fstab entry is acd0c ......blah

The drive is connected to the secondary IDE port as a master.
Mainboard ASUS A7V133 Bios 1.4

Thanks in advance for your help.

Chris
