Are there any good WAV players or WAV to AU converters out there? I've got
sox, but it seems to be rather anal... Some of the .wav files I've given
it resulted in errors about being unable to find the data portion. I'm
guessing this is because of .wav recorders in the Mess-Windoze world not
sticking to the precise specs.

A less strict converter and/or player would be nice. Are there any such
alternatives to sox?
