FreeBSD ash.alerce.com 5.4-STABLE FreeBSD 5.4-STABLE #8: Thu Jun 9 14:35:17 PDT 2005 root@ash.alerce.com:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/ASH i386
>Description:
Whenever I do anything that stores something into the clipboard/selection/cut-buffer/... (e.g. kill a line, kill a region), xemacs spews a pair of errors like this:

X Error of failed request: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 18 (X_ChangeProperty)
Resource id in failed request: 0x10009b5
Serial number of failed request: 28108
Current serial number in output stream: 28110
X Error of failed request: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 25 (X_SendEvent)
Resource id in failed request: 0x10009b5
Serial number of failed request: 28109
Current serial number in output stream: 28110

I get the same effect on a -STABLE machine and a -CURRENT machine. The -CURRENT machine isn't running right now.

On the -STABLE machine I have the following version of stuff installed.

Start xemacs from a terminal window under X, type a bunch of text, move to the beginning fo the line and type control-k to kill to the end of the line. The text should spew into the terminal window.
