Hi, I got the following error message when trying to compile gnome. It has been happening frequently when I do other things too, like running java programs. It seems to especially happen when running vncserver. I increased the maxusers in my kernel conf for the next time I compile my kernel and used sysctl for a quick fix. Should that fix the problem or is there something else I should do? Thank you in advance, Erick Fejta Error Pipe call failed: Too many open files in system Pipe call failed: Too many open files in system To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
