This is an OpenPGP/MIME signed message (RFC 2440 and 3156) --------------enig3C8402705DD77C5C96BAC8E0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Gary Kline wrote: > Guys, >=20 > Anybody know what I have to rebuild/fix to get rid of the > following error output: >=20 >=20 > Xlib: extension "Generic Event Extension" missing on display ":0.0". > Xlib: extension "Generic Event Extension" missing on display ":0.0". > Xlib: extension "Generic Event Extension" missing on display ":0.0". >=20 >=20 This is apparently harmless. It's happened because development of=20 Xlib has got a bit ahead of development of the X server -- so Xlib incorporates features not yet released in X server. The story is this will be fixed when xorg-server-1.6 hits the tree. That could be at any moment. In the mean time, just ignore the=20 excess verbiage.
