you need to: 1. add an MX record to the DNS zone file for the new domain (see O'Reilly's "DNS and BIND", ISBN 1-56592-512-2), and 2. configure sendmail on the existing server to accept mail for the domain (see O'Reilly's "sendmail", ISBN 1-56592-222-0, or www.sendmail.org). -Mitch >hi, i'm a sys admin wannabe who's been doing this stuff for three months so >i don't know jack. the real sys admin at my place just left so i am trying >to do things in his stead, and knowledge is slow in coming.
