Hi all, Is it possible to run a floppy boot loader that points to the Kernal and rest of the installation on a HDD on another machine on my internal network ??? The situation I am in is I have a winblows 98 box with a 21gb HDD and I have had all my spare HDD's fail, I wish to install the servers os on a partition in the winblows box and use a floppy boot loader to point to the winblows hdd. or would I be better finding a spare hdd and then burning the os to a cd and run from cdrom ??? If I use the last option does the MB need to be able to boot from cdrom or could I use a floppy to mount the cdrom and then load from it ??
