5.0 built and installed 10/22 runs fine on a Tyan Thunder K7 with 2 Athlons. Exception: Shutdown of the X server, no matter when and how, causes complete black display. The box is remotely reachable. The only way to restore the console display is to reboot. Guess a known issue.
