Hello,

I am trying to access the internet from a FreeBSD 4.2-RELEASE box behind a
Microsoft 2.0 socks proxy. The problem may not be socks related. I cannot
ping the box running the socks proxy from the FreeBSD box although I can
ping all of the other Windows boxes on the same subnet. I can also ping the
Windows socks proxy server from other Windows boxes.

Does anyone have any idea what I might be doing wrong? I can use smbclient
to access shares on other windows boxes, so networking seems to be ok.

Jim
