I'm not sure what you're trying to say here, but lsof builds from
Ports as a native FreeBSD binary:

$ file `which lsof`
/usr/local/sbin/lsof: setgid ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (FreeBSD), for FreeBSD 6.3, dynamically linked (uses shared libs), stripped

PS. "Nash Nipples" ?
