Had this one arrived before I sent it out, I would have sent it out as a reply to it :-) I've fixed it for more of the cases than it currently is broken for. Building individual .o files might still require make depend first in order to have things built/rebuilt correctly. That has always been the case, so I'm not too disheartened by it.
