Bull shit. I have 2 thunderbird boxes (750 on a router/server and 850 on a
workstation) and never run into gotchas.
To tell the truth, I did once (when built kernel with CPUTYPE *8-))
I'd got very strange TCP troubles, but it was tould several times - CPUTYPE can
make you scream.
