 We sucessfully loaded FreeBSD 6.1 on our Compaq 1600R
 
 We had to build a custom kernel and custom install CD with
 the custom kernel because there is NO WAY to completely remove
 or disable the usb driver unless you rebuild the kernel and
 comment out the device driver.  Setting the usb disable
 flags in the boot config doesen't disable the driver probe.
