With a bit of effort, you could probably mung the patches to fit a -stable
kernel.  Sef was working against a -current kernel and I didn't see any
reason to fight it.  Basically, look at the kernel diffs and see how hard
it looks - there's not a lot of substance in it, just complexity 8)
