I've just been looking at printing out the handbook (PostScript
format), and note a number of formatting problems. They're not
urgent, but if you're going through anyway you should be aware of
them. This isn't so much a "please fix" as a "did you know?".

1. No odd/even page breaks (e.g. The part headers can occur on an
    even page).

2. Spurious " characters on a line by themselves after some
subheaders (e.g. section 1.4, "The CVS repository").

3. Spurious vertical space after some numbered list items
    (e.g. Section 2, "Installing FreeBSD".

4. Some notes in constant width instead of italics (e.g. the "Special
note" in section 2.2.1). I suppose this is a matter of taste, but
    I suspect it's also a coincidence.

5. Some examples are wider than the page, and don't wrap. For
    example, section 4.2.

6. Use of * for emphasis in some places (4.3.1, "... the mount point
    *must* be /cdrom").
