Old Synopsis: Automatic KDE boot can crash system when switching back to console. New Synopsis: [kdm]: Automatic KDE boot can crash system when switching back to console. State-Changed-From-To: open->feedback State-Changed-By: remko State-Changed-When: Mon Dec 25 20:31:16 UTC 2006 State-Changed-Why: Hello, kdm is third party so we might need to look a bit further. Can you tell me why you are not using the regular kdm startup parameters? kdm_enable="YES" in /etc/rc.conf (the startup script is located in /usr/X11R6/etc/rc.d/) if you use that, what happends then?
