But I do want to try the Ethernet way, may need to buy an Ethernet switch or router. I also intend to build a Linux installation, don't really want to be without that. Linux has the best hardware and software support of any open-source OS; I don't think there is any argument about that: not to downgrade FreeBSD. Tom
