Thanks.. that worked great. Now I've run into another problem. I tired to set a root password.. but there seems to be one already set. I don't recall setting it. Do I need to create a new database other then the one created in /var ? ---- Jason -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG [mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG]On Behalf Of Bill Moran Sent: Tuesday, May 29, 2001 07:11 To: Jason Halbert Cc: questions@FreeBSD.ORG Subject: Re: MySQL 3.23.28 Jason Halbert wrote: > > Okay so would the line be: > > 4.41.88.78 jason jason-n3xt.org. Use the loopback: 127.0.0.1 jason-n3xt jason-n3xt.org. Under some circumstances, the resolver will check for just the first part of the name, without the domain. -Bill To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
