Subject:   usb disc device is not present in 5.4-p1

Hi list,

After upgraded to 5.4-p1 from 5.3 stable, the
insertion of the usb disc is no longer able to
activate the creation of the usb device.
In my case, when the usb disc inserted in the usb
port, the kernel system assigned /dev/da0s? to the usb
disc when it was in 5.3, but now this is not happened
any more, and there is error being logged to the
/var/log/messages file as shown below:

ls shown that there is only one device exist:
# ls -l /dev/da0*
crw-r----- 1 root operator 4, 23 Jun 16 14:35 /dev/da0

Mount command failed with the following message:
# mount_msdosfs /dev/da0 /mnt
mount_msdosfs: /dev/da0: Device not configured

How can I fix this error?
