We update the port, wait for Satoshi to make a build run (you must have
seen one to know some ports broke).

cvs@ refused to do repo copies of this nature any more.

I am not using this in port building -- I am using automake+autoconf the
way it was intended to be used -- by developers of software.

They *DO*, but I am changing Makefile.am and configure.in and I MUST
generate new Makefile.in & configure before I can check my changes into
the FSF GCC & Binutils repo -- exactly so that your believe that vendors
supply those generated files happens.
