ultra based mobo, while sniffing the network on another machine, 
there is no packet sent by the driver, no error messages were
reported by the driver during test. ping 192.168.1.254 shows
"HOST is down", but obviously my gateway is working well.
another driver, the nve driver works but recently crashes
under heavily load.
