Now that you mention it, at the time, I didn't know it was in /usr/ports/x11-wm/ so I just downloaded and installed it from the Blackbox web site. I didn't realize that the only apps that show up in /var/db/pkg are the ones you install from ports or packages. I thought they would be listed in there regardless of what installation method is used. I recently upgraded my ports and the port for bbpager got upgraded to v 0.2.8 Version 0.3.0 is the most current version and AFAIK, works the best. Thanks again for your help.
