I googled a while and it seems there are other packages (gedit, gimp) that suffer from similar bugs. The offending line seems to be this one inside g_type_check_instance_is_a_ node =3D lookup_type_node_I (type_instance->g_class->g_type); Is your glib installed from binary or did you build it yourself? If the case is the latter, I would try to use the one in the repositories just in case.
