Yes, during the install you should have asked freebsd to
install "booteasy", it asks you right after you do the 
partitioning.

yes, take a look at:
ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/tools/osbsbeta.exe

FreeBSD doesn't use bash for a default shell, if you want
bash, then you either install the package or use the port.
