And yet somehow, when they make an error that is *not* in your favor by 
mistakenly debiting your account and leaving you temporarily unable to pay 
basic bills, there's no penalty for the bank whatsoever.

I don't cry for the banks in this scenario because (a) it's their mistake 
and (b) I think it balances out with the mistakes that they make which are 
against the customers' favor.
