     Yes, I've noticed the problem and I'm using the commercial OSS
driver.  I've also noticed the problem with the pcm and old voxware
driver.
     For the record, when I played xkoules, their was no delay. Yet,
when I would focus another window away from xkoules, xkoules would
immediately pause.
