I4B is distributed under the BSD License, I4L is distributed
under the stricter GPL (GNU Public License).
AFAIK the latter was the reason for Hellmuth not to use any
I4L-sources in I4B, it was written completely from scratch.

The same applies here, although it's rather the way that
commercial vendors rather use BSD code, since the license allows
them to use it without providing the sourcecode (which the GPL
does not).

Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong with any of the above :).
