I've got a thinkpad 701c and when I try to boot with the boot disk in the floppy drive it just blinks the floppy light once or twice and hangs. I can boot from dos (dr dos 6 and pcdos 6) boot floppies and from OS/2 boot floppies so I know the hardware works. I d/l'd the boot.flp and rawrite with two different OS/2 ftp programs and a dos one and they all do exactly the same thing. Rawrite appears to work, no errors and the floppy disk has been used for other things and surface scanned and is OK. I prefer to get FreeBSD working rather than trying to install Linux, anyone got any ideas? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ <christij@unix.asb.com> 423B78C80FEA5495 CF64AD5F214797DE http://www.asb.com/usr/christij 95E3789C5679C4D7 03210B57E76FE66 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm for truth, no matter who tells it.
