linux_base handles it properly. LD_LIBRARY_PATH applies to both FreeBSD
and Linux binaries, which makes it impossible to use genericly for only
FreeBSD or Linux binaries. The place where LD_LIBRARY_PATH works is in
wrapper scripts.
