I dunno about that specific model, but I have seen 2.2.6 on a Dell P2-266, 64 meg sdram, 3 gig ide hard disk with a 4 meg ATI Rage II onboard video card and it liked things pretty well. It was using a 3COM but I am not sure which. I don't know about sound. I think it was a Dimension. If not it was an Omniplex(?).
