BRU is commercial-ware - you have to buy it. $89 (as I recollect) 
will get you the base version. Check-out FreeBSDMall or 
www.estinc.com for info.

I have never heard of BRU, and I looked around in the ports 
collection to see
what it is all about, but could not find anything.  I have just been 
using
tar lately without any problems, but I am always looking for better 
ways
to do things.
