hi there,
i just bought a Yamaha XG and a Speaker System that has a Coaxial
SPDIF-In so i'd like to bring that system to work not only with the
analogous output of the soundcard but fully digital too. Therefore here my
question goes:
has here someone been able to enable the SPDIF out or perhaps the whole
functionality of the XG-D/B I board of the Yamaha XG under FreeBSD ?

my system:
FreeBSD boombox.zaphods.net 4.1-STABLE FreeBSD 4.1-STABLE #1: Thu Aug 31
15:10:43 CEST 2000 root@boombox.zaphods.net:/usr/src/sys/compile/BOOMBOX i386
pcm0: <Yamaha DS-1E (YMF744)> at memory 0xd7000000 irq 9 (4p/2r channels duplex)

thanks,
	Stefan

PS: no i'm not on the list
