This is a multipart message in MIME format. --=_alternative 000A948B882569D0_= Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" I'm getting an error when trying to configure ApacheJServ-1.1.2 I downloaded the source and these are the parameters I'm using to configure jserv: ./configure \ --prefix=/usr/local/jserv \ --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs \ --with-jdk-home=/usr/local/jdk1.1.8 \ --with-JSDK=/usr/local/share/java/classes/jsdk.jar \ --disable-debugging this is the resulting error: checking for GNU make... configure: error: Found: /usr/bin/make GNU make is required and was not found. If GNU make is not installed, please install it. www.gnu.org. If GNU make is installed, please adjust your PATH to make sure that GNU make is found before any other version of make that is installed on your system. rm config.cache and then re-run configure again. I found "gmake" here: "/usr/local/bin/gmake" and changed my path as recommended, but that didn't work. Any ideas? If I install GNU make, will that overwrite the FreeBSD version of "make"??
