Thanks - in spite of the fact that I've been running a FBSD system since around ver 6.0, I am still in many ways a neophyte. I get some of what you wrote, but: if I understand, you're saying basically, do an upgrade to 9.x first and then go to 10.0? What's "stamp bootloaders"? Does that have to do with booting from a zfs root? My main concern is the root on ZFS. I want to make sure I can boot this puppy when all is said and done! Thanks...
