uname -a gives me
FreeBSD Oz 4.2-RELEASE FreeBSD 4.2-RELEASE #0:
Mon Nov 20 13:02:55 GMT 2000

I have two hard drives - one with free BSD on it and one for
Windows ME.

mount shows me
/dev/ad0s1a on / (ufs, local)
   etc.

mount_msdos /dev/ad1s4 /mnt/windows
replies with
mount_msdos: /dev/ad1s4: Device not configured

as do most of the variants using mount or mount_msdos I can
think of.

Ok, now what do I do?

According to System Commander's partitioning information,
the drive I am trying to get at has
(1) MultiFAT partition
(1) Extended FAt partition
(1) FAT32 partition.

Getting at any of them under free BSD would greatly facilitate
my efforts to kiss Redmond good-bye.
