Hi All,

Anyone here get Cybercashes payment system running? I tried and it gave me
a Memory fault error. Cybercash has no plans for fix this. I tried using
their BSDI port and basically was told that they have no plans to support
FreeBSD and suggested I get BSDI or NT. What gall.

Also, Excite's new free downloadable search engine (www.excite.com/navigator)
also bombs with a Bus Error when you try to compile their code.

What are the actual problems with BSDI and FReeBSD that make them semi
compatible? I know NEtscape had a Memory fualt for their BSDI port that
when they issued a patch fixed the problem with FreeBSD. I would think
these other companies could supply the same patch. Any thought?

I need a decent search engine similar to either Excite, which Netscape uses
so I can search my web site. Any ideas on a package that works?

Thanks,
Mark
