I've finally got up to date on my mail, so I think I'm ready to dive into following -current. I'm wondering if the below is still a good description of how to update from a pre-signal changes -current to recent versions? UPDATING still mentions the xinstall business, but I seem to have gathered from recent posts that this is no longer necessary? Thanks, Doug "Eugene M.
