A cvsup of ports-all and a "portsdb -uU" produce the following

[Updating the portsdb <format:bdb1_btree> in /usr/ports ... - 7705 
port entries found

There are some ports that may not make packages because they haven't 
been touched for a while. If you follow freebsd-ports, you will see a 
report from "bento" on ports that won't build. The actual number of 
working ports fluctuates a little bit.
